Appeal a decision

A person reads every appeal. Appeals reach us the same way as every other request, through Discord, so follow the two steps below and start your message with the word Appeal.

  1. Step 1

    Join the Swatted Discord server

    Join with the Discord account linked to your Swatted account, so we can match your appeal to the right record. A temporary disable keeps you in the server, so you may already be a member.

    Banned from the server too? A Swatted ban also applies in Discord, so the invite will not let you back in and Discord will not deliver a DM without a shared server. Open the owner's profile from step 2 and send a friend request instead; once it is accepted, send your appeal as a DM.

  2. Step 2

    Send the owner a direct message

    Start with the word Appeal, then say which decision you are appealing and why. Keep everything in one conversation; we reply there once a decision is made.

What to include

  • Your account email or username

    The Swatted account the decision applies to, so we can open its moderation record.

  • The decision and its reason

    Whether it is a warning, limit, disable, or ban, and the reason shown on your account screen, if any.

  • Why you think it was wrong

    Any context we may have missed. Be specific; a clear, calm appeal is reviewed fastest.

Never share your password, login codes, or recovery codes. Nobody at Swatted needs them to help you, and a message that asks for them is not from us.
